What We Do

The major obstacles to child survival in Nigeria and other developing countries include poverty, diseases and infirmities, malnutrition, gender discrimination, inadequate environmental awareness, limited access to vital information (where lack of information can lead to misinformation), poor ideological guidance, and insufficient positive parental impulse control. A serious problem exists in the rural villages of Nigeria, the nonchalant attitudes of parents towards the health of their children, inadequate supply of pipe-borne water by supply to the villages, and lack of adequate knowledge about different methods of simple water purification. All of these constitute the downward trend of neglected children.

The involvement of non-governmental organizations, philanthropists, and relevant government agencies is crucial in addressing poor psychosocial development among children in Nigeria and other parts of the world. Such interventions are essential for ensuring a bright future for the country. The foundation actively promotes the well-being of children and youth through workshops and symposiums that prepare them mentally for societal participation. Additionally, proper training, complementary nutrition, and simple methods of water purification contribute significantly to improving children’s overall health.
